Description

This is a large vintage travelling trunk fitted out as a wardrobe by the Taschner Jilka company in dating from around 1920. The trunk is in super condition, with oak and brass bindings around the solid timber and craquelle effect canvas covered case. The trunk has good quality solid brass fittings and catches and thick leather straps and handles. This is quite a rare piece with a real vintage 1920s Poirot feel about it, ideal for that cruise down the Nile or this would make a fine centre piece coffee table conversation piece in any room. The trunk measures 130cms wide 60cms high by 55cms deep.
