Description

This is a superb quality Chinese wardrobe in Huanghuali wood dating from the Qing period circa 1900. The wardrobe is in excellent condition throughout with a beautiful patina to the hardwood which has a lovely rich deep colour. The wardrobe is well constructed, with good form, having fielded panel sides and doors, an ogee bracket cornice and a pretty shaped apron base, hand carved with prunus flower and with two fitted drawers. Inside the cabinet there is a hanging rail to the left and shelves and a little drawer to the right.The robe stands on solid carved ball and claw legs measuring 170 cms high 110 cms wide by 35 cms deep.
