Description

This is an impressive large cast gilded bronze Buddha with great charm dating from around 1870.

The laughing figure is seated in the usual pose, cast in solid bronze which has a beautiful deep rich colour and antique patina, embellished with gilded remnants throughout the piece.

Good condition overall, historic split to forehead as photos show.

He is a substantial piece with great presence measuring 34 cms in height.
