Good Pair of Giltwood Cherub Corner Brackets 18th

Description
This is a good pair of hand carved giltwood wall corner brackets in the form of seated cherubs holding a bunch of flowers amongst fern leaf foliage. The carvings retain their original hand gilded finish which has a delightful rich colour and patination. The bracket plinth has an egg and dart moulded crest with repeat beadwork border.These are in great condition for their age circa 1780 and measure 32 cms high 10 cms wide by 16 cms deep.
