Description

This is a super quality Georgian period camphor wood chest dating from around 1810. The large chest is covered in high quality thick leather hide that is beautifully studded and brass bound. The leather and the brass fittings are in excellent order. The chest has the delightful scented camphorwood aroma inside and is in nice, clean original order. It retains its original brass lid restraining bar which is in good working order.
A very smart example in lovely condition measuring 92 cms long 46 cms deep by 41 cms high.
