Description

This is a delightful example of an early piece of hand painted Kashmir from Northern India. The three panel screen is profusely hand painted with colourful mille fiori decoration throughout and is extremely decorative. The folding screen houses three vintage photographs at the moment but of course you could add your own items.
The screen is generally in really good condition but with a little rubbing to the edges commensurate with its age. Rare to find such examples in good condition, this measures 50 cms by 27 cms for the larger screen, 44 cms by 24 cms for the medium one and 40 cms by 22 cms for the smaller screen. Therefore a length of 73 cms when fully opened out.
