Description

The Georgian wing armchair featured sweeping elegant curves, and this fine example is no exception. Fully re-upholstered, the shape of the wings and the scrolling arms are accentuated with contrasting piping. The seat cushion is feather-filled. Mahogany framed, the front legs are tapered and carved with a fine moulding. It is a good size for modern living, not too large, and with an unusual delicacy of style. Circa 1800.
