Cast Iron Victorian Stick Stand

19th century cast iron stick/umbrella stand, boldly modelled as a young Hercules wrestling with a snake. it is a fine quality casting. The drip tray is removable. It has its original white painted surface, which is slightly rust-marked, so retains the crispness of detail in this elaborate piece. The drip tray has a broken edge that has been missing for some while, and is not particularly noticeable. It is a good classical model, redolent of Victorian elegance.
