Description
Hat and Coat Stand of tubular brass, standing on 4 splayed legs. The legs and 4 hooks are decoratively bolted to the main pole. The gilded surface of the metal has worn aged well to give a natural "antique" look, whilst leaving enough gold to give brightness. The modern and functional design is that of the Arts and Craft movement. Quality of workmanship is evident, and condition excellent, having suffered only 1 replacement bolt.
