Georgian Wavy Ladderback Country Armchair

Description
Late 18th century country ladderback open armchair. Typical of chairs attributed to the Lancashire area, it has turned uprights, with domed and nipple finials, united by wavy line stretchers. A handsome chair, it has been recently rushed and is good and firm. The feet have been built up by about 16cm some time ago (please see photograph). Circa 1800.Height 115cm (45 1/4 inches)
