17th Century Oak Coffer

Description
A small late 17th century panelled Oak Coffer. The top rail above the 3 panels of the front is decorated with lunettes, and carved S-curves to the central uprights. With neat proportions, standing high on its legs, and an excellent original surface, this is a particularly attractive piece of early oak. Circa 1680.Width of lid 102cm (40 inches)
