Description

Mid 19th century French side table. Made of solid walnut, it has a shaped top that is beautifully complimented by 4 elegant cabriole legs. The legs end in delicate hooves that have lost no height. The single drawer is dovetailed and the whole table is of pegged construction, traditionally and well made. The front left leg has an old patch on the inner side at the top, a lovely repair that simply adds character to the piece. This is a pretty country table, having a golden walnut colour and a good surface.
