Description

Fine quality Edwardian mahogany writing table in the Chippendale taste. The top has a reeded edge, above an arrangement of five drawers with ‘B’-mould beading and octagonal brass drop handles, and five matching dummy drawers to the rear. The table is raised on bold acanthus carved cabriole legs terminating in claw-and-ball feet. Bears label to centre drawer of the maker ‘Nolan & Sons, Dublin’.

Condition and Details of Restoration
This item is in original structural condition and is completely sound. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are however minor marks and scuffs, and also some fading. Should you prefer to have your furniture in pristine condition, we would be happy to advise regarding re-polishing. The handle to the bottom left dummy drawer at the rear is a replacement and not matching.
