A very striking and fine quality Victorian burr-walnut tilt top pedestal dining table, of wonderful rich colour and beautiful figuring to the wood.

c1870.

The shaped top with exquisitely carved edge, having beautifully matched quarter panel veneers, with outstanding rich figuring to the burr walnut.

Supported on a wonderful boldly carved pedestal, with scroll carved splayed quadriform legs, with the original castors.

Original tilt-top action to the table top, which works perfectly and efficiently.

In excellent antique condition. Lovely aged patina.

Wonderful craftsmanship from the Victorian era.

Very solid sturdy and strong.

The dimensions are.
Height-174cm tilted. Height-74cm to top. Height to underside when sitting-69.7cm.
Width-155cm.
Depth-115cm.
