A good solid Victorian mahogany pedestal desk of excellent quality.

c1890.

The top has a moulded edge with an inset high quality tan leather gold tooled writing surface, This is virtually unused, so is almost as new. With an antique finish to compliment the age of the desk.

The pedestals have four graduating drawers each, flanking a long central single drawer, so nine drawers in total.

The drawers are of dove-tail construction and mahohany lined, showing excellent quality.

With turned wooden handles, all locks and brass escutcheons are present.

Standing on a plinth base with castors.

In excellent restored antique condition.

Very solid, sturdy and strong.

The desk can be dismantled to three sections.
