A wonderful late 17th century oak Lancashire chair, having an abundance of warmth and character to the timbers.

c 1680.

The rectangular panelled back with arched cresting, carved with foliate motifs, having pyramid finial surmounted uprights.

The solid seat with turned baluster forelegs, joined by rectangular stretchers.

Very solid, sturdy and strong. Expected signs of age and use.
