This decorative postbox might best be described as a later representation of the Victorian letterbox that was often found on the hall tables of country houses. It is made in mahogany with a hexagonal form. One of the panels has a small door for mail collection and beneath there is a stamp drawer. It has a well carved top that is surmounted by an acorn finial.Date1980s
