An Edwardian travelling chess set dating to around 1900-10The case is made from Mahogany and is held closed with two brass catches, one either end.
The board when opened reveals the complete chess set further holes around the sides for pieces taken from the the board.g a game.
Excellent condition measuring 7" x 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" tall while closed,
The chess pieces are modern replacements
