Very Early English Silver Gilt Wall Mirror c1680.Originally this frame would have held a portrait of the period, now housing a heavily distressed piece of mercury silvered mirror plate.
Stunning quality being all hand carved, a very hard to find example of 17thC craftsmanship.
Sizes 38" x 33". Width of frame moulding 4 1/2".
