This is a wonderful piece! - the top, hand painted enamel scene is exquisite, an obvious top quality piece depicting an idylic early evening on the river. The deep blue enamel frame and base are set to what appears to be a copper, with a gilded interior. Measuring c. 2.1/4" inch (5.7cm) diameter it is octagonal in shape - opening to reveal a gilded interior, the round framed mirror has some silver loss, the powder sifter is turning true. A gorgeous piece, which has been pre-loved and whilst shows some nibbles to the blue outer enamels retains a gorgeous top enamel piece that will delight the most discerning of buyers. Generally selling at c. £5-600 in perfect condition - the price reflects the slight damage to the outer edges - I am however happy to consider sensible offers.
