Charming! - This is a beautiful 1930's powder compact by Stratton, in the best of condition, it is known as a "Punt" shape. The peachy pink enamel is just gorgeous, measuring c. 2.1/4" inch (5.8cm) square all clasps and hinges perfect and opens to reveal a nice clean interior with original puff and sifter and pouchette - I doubt this little beauty has ever been used. The transfer print Scottie Dog Terrier to the front has started to crinkle (but then after 75-80 years I guess we all will!), in my opinion it does not detract from this beautiful original piece that will not disappoint. A fine collectable book piece sure to delight!.
