Absolutely Stunning this is a gorgeous vintage powder compact of the highest order - Iconically Art Deco this beautiful original 1930's Powder Compact, fully enamelled in a wonderful blue guilloche enamel, to the top and fully engine turned in an unusual and exquisite design to the base. Measuring c. 3.1/4" inch diameter, it is a most attractive piece - fully hallmarked for respected silversmith Broadway & Co of Birmingham- with the letter J for 1933. This is a top quality piece in the finest of condition, beautifully designed- all clasps and hinges perfect, opening to reveal a nice clear mirror, a fitted sifter and a silk puff- a pouchette is also present- just lovely!!. These fine enamel pieces are becoming impossible to find in this sort of exquisite condition - sure to delight the most discerning of collectors!.
