This is a beautifully enamelled powder/rouge compact. Made in Austria the deep blue gilt and black enamelling is delightful - measuring c. 1.5" inch diameter it is set to a gold tone/gilt base, all clasps and hinges are in good order and the original rouge & puff remain intact. The round bevelled mirror to the inner lid shows minor signs commensurate with age, but is overall in good vintage condition. An exquisite and unusual piece in the nicest of condition that will not disappoint!.
