Absolutely Stunning this is a gorgeous vintage powder compact of the highest order - Iconically Art Deco this beautiful original 1920's Powder Compact, fully enamelled in a wonderful baby pink guilloche enamel, to the top and fully engine turned to the base. Measuring c. 2.5/8" inch diameter, it is a substantial, most attractive piece - fully hallmarked for respected silversmith Henry Clifford Davis of Birmingham and assayed in 1921 (letter w)- This is a top quality piece in the finest of condition, beautifully designed- all clasps and hinges perfect, opening to reveal a nice clear mirror, and a nice clean interior - just lovely!!. These fine enamel pieces are becoming impossible to find in this sort of exquisite condition - sure to delight the most discerning of collectors!.
