Absolutely Stunning this is the most beautiful colour I have seen in a long time!! - Iconically Art Deco this beautiful original 1920's Powder Compact, fully enamelled in a wonderful vivid blue guilloche enamel, to the top and base. Measuring c. 2.1/4" inch diameter - fully hallmarked for respected silversmith PH Vogel, with the London import mark, assayed in 1927 - This is a top quality piece in the finest of condition, under an eyeglass two small surface slivers can be seen near to the hinge and clasp, but in my opinion they do not detract at all (I am very fussy!), I mention for accurracy, but at 85 years old, to me this is a wonderful piece that I am sure will not disappoint! - all clasps and hinges perfect, opening to reveal a nice clear convex magnifying mirror (framed and hallmarked) and an interesting powder mechanism and a fully gilt interior - just lovely!!. sure to delight the most discerning of collectors!.
