This early 1900's hand painted enamel compact is delightful, a charming country garden scene to the front, is exquiste and the vacant cartouche to the top has a dragonfly painted. In a pale blue enamel the square shaped compact is lovely - in fair vintage condition showing just the odd nibble which can be seen in the supersized pictures. Set to a gold tone surround all clasps and hinges are perfect and open to reveal a nice clear interior, original puff and sifter. Measuring c. 2" inch I love it and I am hoping it will find its way to an appreciative buyer!.
