Dating from early 1900's, this wonderful vintage powder compact has survived the test of time. In fantastic, unused, condition the front black & white/sepia picture of His Majesty George V (also pictured with Mary), beneath a clear celluloid cover is in exceptional condition, the body is made of Chrome -. Measuring c.1.5/8" inch diameter - All clasps and hinges are in good order and it opens to reveal the original Lylax powder in its godette, a small puff and a perfectly clear polished steel mirror. The condition is amazing and will certainly delight and at near 100 years old it is a fine example! - a gorgeous collectable book piece that will not disappoint the most discerning of collectors.
