This is a rare & special find. This brass powder compact by Le Rage is in the form of a roulette wheel, the small ball continues to turn true, the enamelling to the roulette wheel is in good order. Measuring c. 3.1/4"inch diameter, impossible to find this particular piece (the first Ive seen in the flesh in over 20 years!), I know it will delight!. In super order, all clasps and hinges are in good order, opening to reveal an inner opening lid signed Le Rage. The powder well is empty and the mirror is clear - a nice piece that is a "must have" for any novelty collection - Le Rage were only manufacturing powder compacts for a very short time during the 1950's and their products are very difficult to find. This is a fine collector's book piece in good vintage order that will not disappoint
