Description

In super vintage condition, this gorgeous slim line enamelled powder compact and lipstick duo in the form of a musical camera (often known as a Kamra) it is iconically 1930's. Measuring c. 3.3/4" inch long x 2" inch, the outer enamel is a black and white snakeskin enamel which is in superb order. The button to the top presses to release the powder compact hige and clasp (all in good order) revealing a square bevelled mirror together with its original fitted sifter and silk puff. To the end the lipstick fits nicely and even has its original matching leather snakeskin tassle ( a deep lipstick is still contained). All in all it is great condition and the musical movement plays perfectly. The only thing worthy of note is that the turning hinge (see pic 5) should probably have had a little additional piece, it can still be turned with a little skill, but would benefit from having a brass pin. The button to the right of the picture moves to play the tune - just lovely and I know it will not disappoint!
