This beautiful enamel & marcasite detail, Art Deco powder compact and ladies cigarette case dates to the early 1920's. Measuring 5.3/4" inch long x 2" inch deep, it has two compartments, one for powder complete with a framed mirror, powder well and sifter, the other is a carrying area to keep one's cigarettes discreetly. The peach coloured enamel to the front set in stepped chrome is in very good order, with art deco geometrical design. All clasps and hinges are perfect, It is a lovely piece, difficult to find in this sort of order, the only thing worthy of note is one tiny piece of marcasite is missing and will be easily replaced.
