Antique Silver Gilt Enamel Compact 1930

Description
A fine solid silver and guilloche enamel powder compact with marcasite flower setting. In deep yellow and black enamel, the whole ensemble is wonderful. Internally gilded. Fully Hallmarked for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings Frank Shepherd with a Silver London import mark and date letter F (London 1930). A tiny (under the eyeglass) rub is present to the right hand side, this does not detract, but I note for accuracy.
