Description

A pretty French writing table dating to circa 1930/40 that we have restored with a distressed coloured finish.

All the tired and worn finish was removed before a coat of white followed by a coat of French grey lacquer was applied. A cut back with abrasives and an application of dark wax creates a great time worn look in the shabby chic style.

Constructed in beech wood with solid joints throughout. To the upper section two small drawers are combined with a small storage compartment. Sweeping cabriole legs with a full width drawer to the table base.

A great piece of vintage furniture brought up to date with a traditional colour.
