This is an excellent vintage print of a hand coloured etching by Charles Mottram after the Jacob Thomson painting "Crossing a Highland Loch". J. Thomson was an English landscape painter who painted "Crossing a Highland Loch" in 1858 and then was then engraved by Charles Mottram (1807–1876). The print is framed in a beautiful burr walnut veneered frame with ebonised edgings.Date1970s :
