Pair of early 20thC. composition stone corbels of Juno, Roman Goddess of Marriage.Juno was often depicted wearing a goat skin coat.
Goat hooves can be seen in the corbels.
Previously painted. Paint just evident.
Slight damage to one nose.
These salvaged corbels would have been recessed into a wall either side of a doorway or entrance.
