Description

MOVEMENT Good quality gilt verge movement, with engraved and pierced balance cock, and silver regulator disk. Signed and numbered (2143). All in good original condition and running well.

DIAL White enamel in excellent condition. There are a few surface scratches, but no repairs or hairlines. Good original 18th century beetle and poker hands.

INNER CASE Gilt brass. In good condition except for one dent on the back at the bottom. The gilding is intact on the inside but worn through to the brass on much of the outside. The hinge is fine although the bezel does not snap shut. Good high dome bull's eye crystal.

OUTER CASE Gilt brass repousse case. Although there is wear to the gilding, it is quite a heavy gauge case and there are no holes to the repousse surface. The hinge, catch and catch button are fine and the case snaps shut nicely.
