Description

British 1853 pattern cavalry sword in its metal scabbard. Plated triple bar hilt and two piece leather grips, Has a curved single edged blade with Kirschbaum, Solingen stamp and crown & 7 issue stamp on reverse side. Has light pitting to scabbard. In generally solid condition overall. Quite good condition for its age. British made sword with a German made blade.

Approximately 106cm overall and blade 89.5cm.
