These are a good quality substantial set of chairs and come complete with makers plate to the underside - " James Shoolbred, Tottenham Court Road, London" , manufacturers of high quality furniture. The chairs have carved back rail with carved vertical slat and barley twist uprights above newly reupholstered drop-in seats on barley twist legs with bun feet. This good set of six oak dining chairs date from about 1920/1920 and have been cleaned, revived and waxed and are in excellent showroom condition with all joints firm and seats newly reupholstered. They maybe viewed by appointment and we can arrange delivery and accept most major cards.
