Offered for sale is this good set of four Edwardian mahogany bar back dining chairs. The chairs are a lovely rich brown mahogany colour with extensive inlay, The back rails have boxwood and ebony stringing with satinwood crossbanding, the centre panel has a flame mahogany oval with boxwood stringing and also barbers pole inlay. The set of four mahogany dining newly reupholstered drop-in seats above square tapered supports which are again line inlaid with boxwood and ebony with satinwood crossbanding. These would have been a very expensive set of chairs. The inlaid mahogany dining chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned, revived and waxed along with the seats reupholstered in a gold John Lewis fabric.
