The chairs are a lovely warm mellow rosewood colour that would go equally well with a rosewood, walnut or mahogany table, They are of exceptional quality with the makers plate for " James Shoolbred & Co Tottenham House, London". The set of four antique rosewood chairs are delicate in appearance but strong in construction. The backs are profusely line inlaid with boxwood with two marquetry panels in a range of woods including harewood above overstuffed seats on fine turned legs. The set of four rosewood chairs are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned, revived and waxed and seats recovered.
