Description

A good quality, Edwardian period, mahogany open bookcase. The front frieze is highlighted by some inlay. This bookcase has three shelves all of which can be adjusted in height or removed as necessary.
The condition throughout is excellent with all its original polished surface. Sizes: 42”(107cms) wide, 11”(28cms) deep, 48”(122cms) high. Shelf depth: 8”(20cms). Date circa 1910.

I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book. I have been in the antiques business since 1962, starting in the family business in Staffordshire.
In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
Today, my business is carried out via the internet. Any successful antiques business, and particularly mine, remains a way of life and a hobby, it continues to give me enormous enjoyment and satisfaction.
