DescriptionVictorian carved oak cased fusee works wall clock. The oak case is designed to give the illusion that the clock is sitting on a small bracket shelf, although it is actually all one piece. The white painted dial has 'murison' and 'Fraserburgh' in painted black letters accross it. This is not the makers name but more likely the original owner who commissioned the clock. The brass eight day fusee works come with a one year gaurantee of the works and have been checked by our expert watchmaker. The clock has its own shaped brass key for winding. (Circa 1870)
