A fine example of a rare hand made ebony and Gilt Portico Column Musical Playing mantle/sideboard clock with ormolu mounts.

There is a musical device in the bottom case which plays a tune when it strikes on the hour.

The clock is an eight winder with a brass fretworked lightweight pendulum and has a Silk suspension movement.

Approximate Measurements for this special musical clock are Height 16 Inches x 8 Inches Width and Depth 4 Inches.

Condition is quite good for the age with an option for either a bell fitting or coiled gong ring being available,the latter being the correct fitting.
