Vintage welsh quilt in cotton sateen from carmarthenshire. Quilt is machine finished on all 4 sides and hand stitched with typical 19th century patterns, hand stitching in good order. Quilt is a gold colour on one side and a blue/green on other. Green side has some fading, gold side is perfect.

From the 19thC this three section bookcase is a very impressive good looking piece of furniture, probably Welsh. In really great restored condition, the graining in the mahogany has really been enhanced by being re French polished, especially in the arched panels in the doors on the base. All the glass is original as are the handles. An impressive and very useful piece of furniture. To enhance the appearance there is an inlay on the side uprights over a pretty little turned finial. The middle drawer is cushion shaped and everything sits on bracket feet.
