This very typical eight-day Hull pagoda clock by Joseph Denton of Hull c1785.Joseph was working from 1781-1814.By 1802 he was in partnership by a maker called Fox. The case is of oak with long trunk door with shaped top characteristic of many Hull cases . The arched dial is 12in of the strawberry corner type and the work of a very high quality dial painter.
