Eight day Longcase clock by Sam Hill of Sheffield.In Oak and mahogany case with swan necked pediment .The dial by Osbourne or Wilson of Birmingham is very attractive and in excellent condition with origanal steel hands .The case is also supplied with three very attractive ball and spire finials not shown in the photograph.The eight day movement is excellant condition haveing been recently serviced . Sam Hill is a very well thought of maker and many examples of his work are known to survive.He was the maker of both brass and painted dialed clocks most of wich seem to be of the round dial variety always with no date feature.

Liberty & Co Silver and Enamel Fob Watch. Marks L&Co Birmingham 1911. This fantastic fobwatch/deskclock is in very good condition , the enamels are stunning peacock greens and blues which was so typically Liberty & Co . The fobwatch itself is in good working order and keeps good time. The lining is a bit worn in the usual places which is more than compensated for by the quality of the silverwork. A 30 hour Longcase Clock by Thomas Earp of Kegworth (Leicestershire).The oak case is a typical leicestershire shape with pointed top to the trunk door .The whole clock is very good condition and good running order . The dial is signed Earp of Kegworth and a Thomas Earp was working here in around 1800. A Robert Earp who may have been his brother was working in near by Castle Donnington around the same time .

A 30 hour longcase clock by John Pearce of Stratford-upon-Avon. The Oak case with mahogany crossbanding and elm back board is quite charming .It has a very attractive painted dial with tumbling Arabic hours and probably made in Birmingham by Osbourne who was a top dial maker of this period. The 30 hour chain driven movement is in very good condition and in very good running order .
