An Antique 18 Carat Gold French Fob Watch, SKU W2575. This fob watch has a circular form. To either side of the watch is a band of applied bi-coloured leaf and berry gold decoration. To the reverse of the watch are contemporary engraved initials. The hinged hallmarked back cover opens to reveal a hinged hallmarked back plate. This in turn, opens to reval the watch movement. The hinged front cover opens to reveal the white enamel dial, with black numerals and gold and silver minute markers. The watch has fancy gold hands. The watch is fitted with a plain circular bow. A fine Oak Longcase clock signed Pat Cock Nottingham .With brass dial with painted arch and rocking figure of farther time . The movement of 8 day duration and finely engraved on the back plate .In very good running order . The mainly Oak case is very typical for the period and area and very similar case can be found in sudbury Hall (Derbyshire) with movement by Joseph Kirk of Nottingham who Patrick Cock did his aprentiship with . The case has long trunk door and broken arch pediment and stands on bracket feet . Patrick Cock was working from 1739-1755 . He was born in 1713 and clocks of this type with engraved back and rocking figure in a painted arched dial have been seen before my myself .

A Fine and Unusual Antique George V English Sterling Silver and Guilloche Enamel Heart-shaped Boudoir / Travel Clock, SKU W2559. This fine piece has a heart shaped form. The case has a pale violet guilloche enamel exterior. On releasing the push fit catch, the hinged heart shaped covers open to reveal a gilded interior and timepiece. A Fine Antique George V English 9 Carat Gold Half Hunter Pocket Watch and 9 Carat Gold Double Albert, SKU W2545. The 18 ct yellow gold savonnette style half hunter watch case has a hinged inner, back and front cover. The front cover is released by depressing the hallmarked winder. The ring attachment is also hallmarked. The case has dark blue enamel Roman numerals to the front indicating hourly time. The white porcelain dial has black Roman numerals with auxilliary seconds at six. The dial is signed 'Zenith'. The interior of the reverse hinged cover is fully hallmarked, including the maker's mark of Aaron Lufkin Dennison, and opens to reveal the hallmarked inner cover, which in turn opens to reveal the movement which is marked 'Zenith 2976186 Swiss Made'. The watch is in working order. The 9ct gold link double curb link chain is fitted with two sprung clips and a 9ct gold hallmarked T-bar. The chain is fitted with a plain rectangular fob with the engraved initials 'GHJ' (The fob can be removed if so wished) The watch is fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with velvet interior. The box bears the retailer's mark of 'John Pairman and Sons - Watch Makers to the admiralty'. (A full hunter watch has a solid lid to the case and must be opened in order to be read. A variation is the half or demi hunter. In this style, the centre of the case is replaced by glass, allowing the hands to be seen and the watch read without the need to open the cover. A half hunter thus provides maximum convenience whilst a full gives best protection.)
