Matching Pair of Aug Moureau Cold Painted Spelter Figures This beautiful matching pair of cold painted spelter figures are by the famous French sculptor Aug Moureau and are signed on the back of each figure dating to 1900. They stand on impressive ebonised bases and depict shepherd girl and boy. The boy with horn in one hand and carrying an anvil over his shoulder , full of character and dressed in well defined clothing. The maiden in simple country dress carrying a basket holding a single rose, both with good patination and in lovely condition for their age. Fine quality and nicely aged. A very handsome bronze figure from the late 1800s or early 1900s. The figure of a seated woman teaching a small child sits on a most unusual base with the corner mounted feet and slate base. It is, surprisingly, unsigned as the quality is very good indeed and the subject is interesting. We suspect this is French and as unsigned it is very economically priced. A good name would easily double this and as stated the quality is there.

French Art DEco Spelter Figurine group of two dogs. Excellent condition, smallest nibbles only to the marble. One dog loose on base but would require removal of original felt on base to secure tightly. We have left the green baize intact on the base rather than remove for tightening of spelter figure. Large and heavy figurine.
