18thc rare georgian brass snuff tobacco box case with hinged lid. The hinged lid is engraved with initials and date 1780 most unusual georgian tobacco or snuff box case made from brass made into a nutmeg shape. The condition for age is good though the brass lid is loose from the iron hinge pin please see photos

Victorian box with specimen wood inlaid veneers. The box had a double sliding top with small turned wood knob handles. The interior is split into two halves, the right hand side has a square lift out tray with a lower storage section below, both lined in red velvet. The left hand side is a plain unlined storage section. This box would be a perfect size for storing jewellery and small trinkets. The right hand side has a working locking mechanism and comes complete with key. The box is in good useable condition, although some of the pieces of veneered wood on the sliding tops have started to lift slightly.
