£1395. Superb quality, large Edwardian oak roll top desk c.1910. With a good interior fitted with drawers and pigeon holes over two banks of drawers, oak panelled and polished on each side. The sliding roll is in great condition with a smooth action which locks all the drawers in the pedestals when closed. In excellent condition, restored and repolished in our workshop. Oak roll top desk standing on casters. The desk consists of two writing slides to each side, and four drawers to the left pedistal, and three drawers to the right pedistal the bottom one being a file drawer. There is also a center drawer. The interior is fitted with two small drawers, pigeon holes, and a letter rack. The size is approx 41"long, 27"deep, 40"high. This desk is in very good condition and the tambour works perfect with the locking device. Very reasonable transport costs can be arranged.

What a smashing little item this single pedestal roll top desk in oak. It is in excellent condition and the 'S' type roll is all operational. As mentioned it has a single pedestal with drawers and a slide so will take only the minimal amount of space but it is just so useful, pull down the roll and everything is tidy. The interior, as can be seen has the useful slots for letters etc, two drawers and the pencil slides.
