A very large mahogany Fire surround, removed from a local house. Lots of detail on top pediment with the swan neck and the dental molding. In tidy condition, if a bit dusty. We intended to reduce the size of this but it has not been done so for sale to clear at only £150. The 5 rectangular sqares in the body contained pictures and as you can see by the left leg there are 5 pieces of bevelled glass that fit these. We would be happy to undertake alteration or re French polishing if you would like us to.

Edwardian Mahogany Fire Surround with Marquetry Panels circa 1905 RefSN321 A superb quality mahogany fire surround in excellent condition with dentil moulding's below the the mantle and two panels of flame mahogany either side of of a central floral marquetry panel. The sides are fitted with corbels to the top and carved moulding's surround the top of the plinths. The fire surround is a very attractive design and has developed a beautiful rich patina. We believe it to of Scottish origin.
